Little Big Bro

This cute little family had me shoot their Christmas card pictures, and they used them to tell their family and friends about the newest addition to their family! Such a cute idea! We did the shoot at Tri-City Park in Plcentia. We had a blast playing with the ducks and random limes and sticks... Well I mostly just took pictures of little Carter while he did all the playing with mom and dad.

Monroe Family

Here are a few images from the family session I did with my good friends Katie and Brandon and their sweetie-pie, Mya. We went to the park for this shoot and tried to get as many shots as we could between rain showers and string cheese breaks. It was a struggle, as you can see from the images, to keep those little shoes on those little feet! And as hard as the rain made this shoot we were able to get some really cute images and because of the gloomy weather I think it provided a really nice, evan lighting situation.

The New Year ~ Wine Tasting Party

This year for new year's eve Tristan and I, along with a group of our friends, decided to have a "grown-up" party where we all get dressed up and pretend like we know stuff about wine and food...it was great! I designed scorecards for everyone to rate the wine and we gave out prizes to the peeps who guessed the 2-Buck-Chuck, and the most expensive bottle ect. We all learned a lot about our own taste in wine (for example, I'm a cheep drinker evidently because I like the cheep stuff).
We rang in the new year surrounded by our friends, I can't think of a better way to start 2011!

Wedding Season ~ Contreras Wedding at The Turnip Rose

I had the amazing opportunity to shoot this beautiful wedding at the The Turnip Rose in Newport Beach with Jeremy Lucero of Lucero Photography. The bride and groom exchanged vows and rings in the beautiful courtyard in front of family and friends and everyone celebrated the happy occasion in the ballroom after the knot was tied. The day was perfect and the bride was beautiful, here are just a few of the images from that day.

Mya ~ On The Move

Here are some of the images that I got from our 3rd of July party of Mya. She is growing up way to fast and although she can't walk yet she is power crawling circles around those of us on two legs! She is going to be a handful in short order when she gets the hang of the walking thing. You can already tell that she really wants to walk, and crawling on all fours is so last month.
